Björn Swanson gives up his fine-dining restaurant

BERLIN: Björn Swanson is closing his fine dining restaurant Faelt at the end of November. After five years, it's over, he says in a social media post. "Because that's what I want and the air is simply out. We opened XXL four weeks before the lockdown and have been going from crisis to crisis ever since. I'm tired of it. Things actually went pretty well without a star, but that's not the point. Fine dining has simply become uninteresting for me personally," reads the post. Among other things, the restaurant had achieved a star in the Michelin Guide and corresponding ratings in other guides. Björn Swanson sums up by saying that he has made the most of the restaurant's 45 square metres in terms of logistics.
