New restaurant manager at Glasswing Restaurant

VIENNA. Change of management at Glasswing Restaurant by Alexandru Simon: Max Populorum is taking over the role of restaurant manager with immediate effect. Born in Bad Zell, he is very familiar with the restaurant - he has been shaping the culinary experience of the fine dining restaurant as sommelier with sensitivity and expertise since it opened in February 2023. Populorum designed the wine pairing for Executive Chef Alexandru Simon's 7-course gourmet menu with selected wines. The impressive 500-strong wine list bears his signature and testifies to his broad knowledge of the treasures of the old and new world.
Max Populorum is now also taking on the role of restaurant manager. With a keen sense of atmosphere, he leads his outstanding team to ensure that everything runs smoothly and manages the restaurant with unruffled aplomb. He is responsible for the personnel structure and purchasing and is the connecting element between guests and the kitchen. He attaches particular importance to ensuring that chef Alexandru Simon and his team have the creative space they need to fully realise their ideas.
