"The return to Piesport takes place in the evening. In the foyer of the schanz. restaurant. the guests are warmly welcomed by senior chef Gabriele Schanz and shown to their tables. The evening begins with a glass of Ruinart Blanc de blancs champagne - enough time to study the menu at leisure. Although a choice has already been made for dinner at lunch, the decision is ultimately made in favour of four à la carte courses, none of which are yet known except for one.
