(08 June 2025) - The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 has published its expanded ranking, which includes places 51 to 100. This comes ahead of the awards ceremony on 19 June in Turin, where the top 50 places and other special awards will be announced. The rankings are based on the votes of 1,120 independent culinary experts, including renowned chefs, experienced food journalists and travelling foodies. Each of them voted for the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025.

The 51-100 list in numbers

  • 12 new entries from 12 different cities, from São Paulo and San Francisco to Macau and Tulum.
  • Nine entries from Asia, 20 from Europe, eight from North America, eight from South America, three from Africa and two from Oceania.

In addition, Schaueinstein in Fürstenau, Switzerland, drops out of the top 50 after 14 years, while Andreas Caminada's restaurant is now in 52nd place in its 15th year on the list.

"We are overwhelmed by this fantastic development," explains Matthias Hahn, Director of Tantris Maison Culinaire, commenting on the ranking of the Munich restaurant. "This recognition reflects the commitment of Benjamin Chmura and his great team and shows that our vision of excellent French haute cuisine is being recognised internationally. We warmly congratulate all the restaurants that have been ranked".
