156 restaurants receive Bib Gourmand

Two weeks before the star award ceremony on 17 June at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten in Frankfurt am Main, the MICHELIN Guide Germany presents its new selection of Bib Gourmand restaurants. This year's selection includes 15 new addresses with the popular award, bringing the total to 156. The restaurants could hardly be more diverse: they can be found in the major metropolises as well as in the countryside. The cuisine styles range from classic to modern, from regional to Mediterranean to Asian influences. Plant-based concepts are also represented as well as restaurants focussing on local, seasonal products and environmentally friendly gastronomy. They all have one thing in common: flavour and quality at a good price-performance ratio.

First awarded in the MICHELIN Guide in 1997, the Bib Gourmand is a coveted award among guests and restaurateurs alike. The MICHELIN inspectors travel through Germany throughout the year to present a careful selection of restaurants with high-quality and fairly priced offers.

A good choice: the new Bib Gourmand restaurants

Among the 15 new Bib Gourmand award-winning restaurants is the pleasantly uncomplicated Ai Pero in Andernach's old town, whose authentic Italian cuisine is a real treat: delicious homemade pasta included. The trendy Berlin restaurant Remi, where fresh, seasonal dishes are presented in a clear and straightforward manner, is equally popular with guests. In Bernried, Katharina and Erich Schwingshackl offer a very good regional alternative to their gourmet restaurant with their Schwingshackl HEIMATKÜCHE. YALDY in the railway station district in Frankfurt am Main also attracts numerous guests with its interesting modern "sharing" concept in a cool, relaxed atmosphere. Equally popular is the Wilde Klosterküche restaurant in Neuzelle, Brandenburg, not far from the Polish border. Here you can enjoy regionally and seasonally orientated cuisine in a charming, chic ambience.

The selection of the new Bib Gourmands will be updated on 17 June 2025 during the Guide MICHELIN ceremony in Frankfurt am Main on all digital platforms of the Guide MICHELIN.
