"I haven't quite been able to see the Bib Gourmand in terms of quality, but what was on offer was quite ordinary and the quality of the products and cuisine didn't really shine through. But I have to give the restaurant credit for the fact that all the dishes and classics of German cuisine are prepared in-house and are priced accordingly in order to be able to realise this - so I don't necessarily see it as a bargain. The area around the Kö and the old town is quite a culinary desert, which is perhaps why the Kontor is packed. I'll need two or three more visits before I can make a final judgement here."
