New head chef at Faelt

Berlin

Patryk Döring takes over responsibility at Björn Swanson's Michelin-starred restaurant from May

BERLIN: Björn Swanson's Michelin-starred restaurant Faelt will have a new head chef on 1 May. Patryk Döring will then take over the reins of the FAELT kitchen - bringing with him a whole new spirit.

"Patryk has a CV that fits perfectly with what we have in mind for the future - a vegetable-based high cuisine with drive and power. Döring learnt his trade at PURE C with Syrco Bakker, under Arne Anker at Pauly Saal and BRIKZ and most recently under Niklas Hahn at Cookies and is now taking on the challenge of moving to the front row.

The FAELT is celebrating its fifth birthday this year - five years in times of pandemics, global and economic crises and reduced consumer behaviour, in which the Faelt has reinvented itself time and again in order to stand up to the circumstances. On 1 May 2025, the prices and opening hours will therefore change. In future, the restaurant will also be open for lunch on Sundays from 12:00 to 15:00. However, the day off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will remain the same.
