Restaurant review

Tulus Lotrek, Berlin

Berlin, Tulus Lotrek, Forum

"It's a cuisine from the heart that doesn't reinterpret classic flavours and dishes, but presents them in a modern way."

"Visiting Tulus Lotrek is - as always - a great pleasure. Compared to my visit just over two years ago, the cuisine has evolved in the direction it has taken. It's hearty cuisine that doesn't reinterpret classic flavours and dishes, but presents them in a modern way. It warms the heart. My only criticism is that the portions of the first courses could be a touch larger to allow time to feel the full complexity and depth of flavour.
Whilst the cuisine makes me indulge, the wine pairing is exciting and interesting. It offers new discoveries and rediscoveries and goes perfectly with the dishes. Even if the wine list at Tulus Lotrek really does have a lot of interesting things to offer, it is a good idea to choose the accompanying wines, especially alone or as a couple.
The service remains a big plus. I have the feeling that it is not just the professional concern of the entire team to make the guest feel at ease, but that it really is a matter close to their hearts. The relaxed atmosphere is also transferred from table to table due to the spatial situation, so that once again this evening you can feel a wonderfully relaxed mood of enjoyment, which is the icing on the cake of a successful overall experience."
