"This menu fulfilled everything I expected. Stephan Krogmann celebrates a traditional but contemporary cuisine with excellent product qualities, craftsmanship at its best, elaborate and with an extreme focus on harmonious flavours. This is definitely not a place for culinary experiments. About the service: Mathis Ahlers is almost single-handedly in charge of the service this evening and he does this extremely confidently, adapting his approach to the respective guest and, if desired, always available for small talk. He is also the master of a well-stocked wine cellar, which contains an astonishing number of almost inexpensive bottles for a house of this class. This also contributes to the pleasure - but then also to the deserved bedtime heaviness." (Published in January 2025)
