Noble hard and dirty with the best wine list

DÜSSELDORF - The Star Wine List platform has honoured the best wine lists in Germany at an awards ceremony at ProWein in Düsseldorf. Nobelhart und Schmutzig from Berlin received the highest honour, the Grand Prix, as well as the prize for the best long list.

Star Wine List recognises the best wine lists in the world - and the teams behind them. The German entries were judged by a jury of four leading sommeliers: Jan Konetzki, Emmanuel Rosier, Pascaline Lepeltier and Stefan Neumann MS. "What a pleasure to judge these lists, what a pleasure to see the incredible momentum in Germany," says Lepeltier. "The quality of the selection, the depth, the pricing (and not just in the wine-centric cities, but across the country) make Germany a must-see for wine lovers! Congratulations to the entire sommelier community for the great job of making so many beautiful bottles, iconic or emerging, available to us!"

Golden Stars were awarded in 11 categories in Germany, with the winners in the international categories automatically qualifying for the international final of the Star Wine List of the Year, which will take place in Vienna on 16 June.
