Top female chefs in focus with Alexander Herrmann

WIRSBERG: Top cuisine thrives on talent, passion and innovation. However, men are still often in the limelight in the gourmet world. What's more, women face additional challenges in the working environment of the catering industry - such as balancing work and family life with a time-intensive workload. To ensure more visibility for women in top gastronomy, the Posthotel Alexander Herrmann in Wirsberg, Franconia, is launching Female Superheroes Week from 10 to 13 April 2025.

With this campaign, top chef and entrepreneur Alexander Herrmann wants to deliberately put the spotlight on outstanding female leaders in the industry - from the kitchen to service to wine accompaniment. As part of the Female Superheroes week, an exclusive "Late Night Brunch" will therefore be offered on three evenings, organised by the managers from the Posthotel Alexander Herrmann. The week will conclude with a Female 4-Hands Dinner on 13 April 2025 with Lisa Schröder, sous chef of the
Restaurant AURA by Alexander Herrmann & Tobias Bätz, and Cornelia Fischer from the Restaurant Überfahrt on Lake Tegernsee, Chef of the Year in the Schlemmer Atlas 2024.

The week will kick off on 10, 11 and 12 April with the "Late Night Brunches": on all three evenings, the female superheroes from the Posthotel Alexander Herrmann kitchen and service team will shine with their very own strengths and talents. They include Lisa Schröder, sous-chef of the AURA by Alexander Herrmann & Tobias Bätz restaurant, Sandra Hofer, head chef at the "oma & enkel" bistro, Anja Kirchpfening, catering manager and Deborah Schmidt, restaurant manager at the AURA by Alexander Herrmann & Tobias Bätz.

Guests can look forward to creative signature dishes, exquisite wines and drinks as well as live music from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are available from 119 euros per person in the shop at shop.herrmanns-posthotel.de/collections/woche-der-female-superheroes. If you prefer, you can also book the deal including an overnight stay for two people for 499 euros.
