New look for Clara

ERFURT After an extensive renovation phase, the Michelin-starred restaurant Clara in Erfurt's historic city centre has been given a new lease of life. With a completely revamped interior and an innovative interior design, the restaurant now offers not only culinary delights, but also a completely new ambience that invites you to linger and savour.

A new addition to the restaurant's range of services is the option of using the restaurant as an exclusive event location. Thanks to the new room concept, which combines luxurious design and functional versatility, the Clara is now the perfect venue for upscale business events, conferences and private celebrations. The stylish atmosphere and central location make the restaurant an ideal setting for high-quality events in smaller groups, where the highest demands are placed on facilities, service and cuisine.

The concept and design of the new restaurant rooms was undertaken by Erfurt-based design studio K2 home design, whose creative approach has created a perfect symbiosis of modern luxury and classic elegance. Every detail has been carefully considered to create an atmosphere of calm and exclusivity.

The Erfurt-based company WIA - Die Möbeltischler GmbH was responsible for the handcrafted realisation of the design. With many years of expertise in furniture construction and great attention to detail, they created unique design elements that perfectly emphasise the K2 home design concept and give the dining room a warm yet modern feel.
At the helm of the restaurant's culinary creations is still head chef Christopher Weigel, who has made Restaurant Clara one of the best in the region since October 2021 with his exceptional talent and flair for innovative, flavour-intensive and multi-faceted menus. With his unmistakable style, Weigel ensures that every dish is an experience for the senses, not only in terms of flavour but also visually.
