The Chedi Andermatt is organising "Culinary Heights" for the first time, bringing together seven exceptional chefs for a spectacular event.

The line-up? Andreas Caminada has been running Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau for over 20 years. His cuisine has been awarded 19 Gault&Millau points and three Michelin stars. He has been running one of his successful IGNIV branches in Andermatt since November 2024. At his side: head chef Valentin Sträuli - a talented young chef from Caminada's talent factory. The twins Fabio Toffolon and Dominik Sato have been cooking at The Japanese restaurant in The Chedi since summer 2023 and are causing a sensation. They were recently awarded the title of "Rising Star of the Year 2025", 18 GaultMillau points and two Michelin stars. Markus Neff cooks at the top of the Gütsch. The old master of Swiss gastronomy can call one Michelin star and 16 GaultMillau points his own. André Kaiser is Director of Culinary at The Chedi Andermatt and is responsible for the culinary concepts at the 5-star hotel.

The local heroes are not keeping to themselves, but have invited a guest who does not usually have much to do with mountains: Dutchman Jacob Jan Boerma runs several restaurants at once, including "The White Room" in Amsterdam (three stars) with branches in Antwerp ("Finefleur") and in Japan ("Smaak"). He will open "The Swiss House" on 9 March.

The event kicks off at 11.30 a.m. at The Chedi Andermatt with a champagne aperitif by Laurent-Perrier. Weather permitting, guests will enjoy the aperitif outside. Afterwards, the guests split into different groups and the culinary journey begins. The guests move from location to location: from IGNIV with Caminada and Sträuli to Neff on the Gütsch, to Restaurant Nätschen, where André Kaiser cooks, to The Swiss House at Boerma and to the "Twins" at The Chedi.

At each stop, guests will be served a unique signature dish with selected ingredients such as Luma Beef and caviar from N25, accompanied by a perfectly matched champagne and wine pairing with selected wines from Smith and Smith and Dettling Marmot. Co-partner of the Culinary Heights event is Blancpain. The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer shares the same values as the top chefs: precision, passion, authenticity and tradition. The Chedi twins Dominik Sato and Fabio Toffolon have been friends of Blancpain for two years. At the end, all guests meet at The Chedi for the exclusive dessert buffet and the after-party in the Chedi Bar.

Sunday, 9 March 2025, 11.30 a.m.: Places for the Culinary Heights event are limited. Only 250 guests can attend.
A ticket costs CHF 380.
