Magazine publishes selection of the best restaurants in 2025

15 restaurants receive top marks

The magazine Der Feinschmecker has published its selection of the best 500 restaurants in Germany in 2025. Compared to last year, Tantris in Munich and ES:SENZ in Grassau have been awarded the highest rating of five F. All of the other twelve restaurants with five F could confirm their rating. Some restaurants - including ES:SENZ - have already received a new grade during the course of the year, while others are now being published with this update. In the overview below, the current grades are compared with those from February 2024; many of these ratings are already included in our ranking. In total, the magazine's critics have upgraded 66 restaurants and downgraded 19, while 71 restaurants have been added to the list of the 500 best restaurants.

The second-highest grade of 4.5 F was awarded to a total of 17 restaurants. The Bianc in Hamburg and the Essigbrätlein in Nuremberg are new additions to the list. None of the previous 4.5 F restaurants were downgraded.
