Restaurant review
Bareiss, Baiersbronn
"This cuisine is truly wellness for the palate: nothing is forced or contrasted here. It's all about harmony and flavour, paired with classic opulence, even if it seems to me that here and there a little more lightness has entered the Bareiss' world of taste (at least if you do without the foie gras). The flavours and sauces, especially with the fish dishes, are fresh - perhaps also due to the season - and I can't speak of heaviness in the main course either. In any case, the kitchen seems to me to be very much at home. As a guest, you can really let yourself go and enjoy yourself here, and this is even better if you have already spent a day here. The service was very pleasant throughout, more unobtrusive and efficient than entertaining, but that's just the right mode for a dinner party that never seems to run out of things to talk about."
