"Simon Lang & Friends" with 300 guests

AUGSBURG On 2 February 2025, the "Simon Lang & Friends" gourmet festival took place at the 5-star superior Hotel Maximilian's. For the second time, the hotel was transformed into an exclusive stage for culinary excellence. 13 top chefs, awarded a total of 17 MICHELIN stars, presented their skills and offered the 300 guests an unrivalled taste experience.

At various stations, guests were able to look over the shoulders of the star chefs, talk to them and taste their exceptional creations. High-calibre partners such as Moët Chandon, Klassik Radio and Mercedes Benz supported the event. Various wineries, spirits producers and other drinks suppliers provided the perfect accompaniment to the culinary highlights. "This event is particularly close to my heart," emphasises Simon Lang, Executive Chef at Hotel Maximilian's. "It not only offers guests an unforgettable experience, but also gives us chefs the opportunity to network and discuss new trends and innovations in the industry."

The star chefs taking part included renowned names such as Fabio Toffolon/Dominik Sato (The Japanese | Hotel The Chedi, Andermatt), Kevin Romes (Skin's - the restaurant, Lenzburg), Hans Häge (HochZWEI Fine Dining by Hans Häge | Hotel "Gasthof zum Bad", Langenau), Stefan Gschwendtner (Speisemeisterei | Schloss Hohenheim, Stuttgart), Ulrich Heimann (Pur | Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, Berchtesgaden), Florian Vogel (formerly The Camers, currently without a restaurant), Jason Grom (die burg | Hotel Die Burg, Donaueschingen-Aasen), Philipp Helzle (Restaurant Jungborn | Hotel Bollants, Bad Sobernheim), Sabrina Fenzl (Mind, Markt Indersdorf), Sebastian Cihlars (Restaurant Schattbuch, Amtzell), Simon Schlachter (Pavo im Boutique Hotel Blaue Burg, Pfronten), Stefan Fäth (Restaurant Jellyfish, Hamburg) and Simon Lang (Sartory Restaurant | Hotel Maximilian's, Augsburg).

The sold-out event was a complete success and underlines the importance of "Simon Lang & Friends" as a highlight in Augsburg's culinary calendar. The combination of exceptional enjoyment, personal dialogue and the unique atmosphere of Hotel Maximilian's makes this event a must for gourmets and experts alike.
