MUNICH: The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is delighted to announce three new appointments in the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar and the restaurant: Maximilian Paris has been in charge of both gastronomic areas of the hotel since 1 October 2024 and brings international experience to the culinary focus. Lena Schenk, who has been part of the team since September 2023, takes on the role of young sommelier and is responsible for wine recommendations and wine purchasing. New on board is Nina-Theresa Mihilli, who joined the team around F&B Director Daniel Herrmann as Assistant F&B Manager on 1 January 2025.
"With Maximilian Paris, Lena Schenk and Nina-Theresa Mihilli, we are delighted to have gained three high-calibre specialists for our hotel. Each of them brings impressive expertise and a passion for the highest quality. Together, we will decisively shape the culinary future of the hotel," emphasises Holger Schroth, Area General Manager of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich.
Maximilian Paris, born in South Tyrol in 1998, completed his training at the "Kaiserhof" technical college in Merano. His professional career has taken him to renowned establishments such as the Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, the Michelin-awarded restaurant Mural Farmhouse (1 Michelin star and green star) and the Adler Spa Resort Dolomiti, where he was most recently Head of Gastronomy. Thanks to his wide-ranging experience in renowned international hotels and restaurants, he now brings valuable impetus to the culinary direction of the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar and restaurant.
Lena Schenk has been part of the team since September 2023 and is now working in the role of young sommelier. The 25-year-old native of Bavaria began her career at the Hotel de Rome in Berlin and continued it at the Charles Hotel in Munich. In her position, she combines in-depth wine knowledge with a passion for perfection. She is not only responsible for personalised wine advice for guests, but also actively shapes the culinary offerings of the Schwarzreiter day bar and restaurant through her wine purchases.
Munich-born Nina-Theresa Mihilli joined the hotel team on 1 January 2025 as Assistant F&B Manager and, together with Daniel Hermann, F&B Director, will focus on the strategic direction of the culinary offering. With extensive experience from top hotels such as the 3-star Schwarzwaldstube in the Traube Tonbach, where she most recently worked as Maître, the 32-year-old brings the highest service standards and in-depth wine knowledge to her new role. Her career began with training as a restaurant specialist and took her to the 2-star Söl'ring Hof and Landhaus Stricker, among others. She has also been a certified sommelier since 2018.
