"The play with sweetness and vinegar acids at Zeik is getting better and better. This time, too, it is sometimes a little bold, but always well balanced - this is especially true of the vegetarian dishes. The dishes with fish and meat are more classic and the flavours are more focused on the product. Zeik has definitely found its own, coherent and unmistakable flavour profile. In my opinion, it is clearly the best restaurant with a star in Hamburg. The wine list is quite well stocked and also offers one or two mature wines. It is just as easy to get involved with the accompanying drinks, with or without alcohol, and you will be well looked after. Following the refurbishment and modernisation of the restaurant, the atmosphere is more sophisticated without losing its casual character. I felt very, very comfortable again this time."
