The World's 50 Best comes to Turin

The 50 Best Restaurants announces that this year's award ceremony will take place on 19 June 2025 in Turin in the Italian region of Piedmont. The Piedmont region is renowned for its food, wine, culture and architectural beauty and is the perfect location to host the most important annual gathering of the international restaurant community. This is the first time that the world-famous awards ceremony has been held in Italy in the historic city of Turin, the capital of Piedmont.

An extensive programme of events - supported by the host partners of 50 Best, the city of Turin and the Piedmont region - will culminate in the awards ceremony on 19 June, when the ranking of "The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2025" will be announced. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore and experience the inimitable elegance of Turin, a sought-after destination with a unique blend of art, culture, premium ingredients and fine dining experiences.

Highlights of the programme in Turin and Piedmont include a series of key events that have become the basis of the 50 Best Restaurants celebrations: the #50BestTalks thought leadership forum, which will discuss some of the most important issues affecting the hospitality world today; the 50 Best Signature Sessions series of collaborative dining events open to the public, where the 50 Best chefs will cook alongside renowned local talent and offer exclusive dining opportunities; a Chefs' Feast, which will showcase the highest quality ingredients and cooking techniques for which the region is renowned; and the awards ceremony and countdown itself. The programme of events in June will be preceded by several special awards ceremonies to recognise the achievements of both individuals and businesses, with Disfrutar in Barcelona being named the best restaurant in the world at the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024 event, which took place in Las Vegas, USA. Disfrutar will be included in the Best of the Best list of former No. 1 restaurants and is therefore no longer eligible for the ranking from 2025.
