Freiburg Michelin-starred restaurant to offer two menus in future

FREIBURG IM BREISGAU. Freiburg's Michelin-starred restaurant Eichhalde will be offering two different menus in future. Previously, there was a menu with a modern interpretation of Italian cuisine, which could be expanded to include signature courses. In recent months, the restaurant has been offering icons of Italian cuisine for lunch on Tuesdays. According to the restaurant's newsletter, the approval of the guests was an inspiration for the new menu concept, which is set to launch on 10 January.

As a result, in future there will be a "modern menu" with five to nine courses, in which Restaurant Eichhalde wants to remain true to its creative interpretation and innovative approach. There will also be a "traditional" menu: "Here you can expect a loving homage to the great classics of Italian cuisine. This menu will change regularly to focus on the best seasonal ingredients. It includes a choice of three or four courses and is ideal for anyone who appreciates and wants to rediscover the authentic and familiar dishes of Italy," says the newsletter.

The team wants to do justice to both its creative passion and its deep connection to the tradition of Italian cuisine. "Our aim is for each and every one of you to find the culinary experience that suits your wishes and preferences," the newsletter states.
