Previous head chef has left the Michelin-starred restaurant in Wuppertal

WUPPERTAL. Alexander Hoppe, the former head chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant Shiraz, left the restaurant at the turn of the year. This was at his own request, he told Restaurant-Ranglisten.de. Alexander Hoppe became head chef at the restaurant in October 2020. It was awarded a star in the Michelin Guide in 2022.

Alexander Hoppe completed his training at the Denkma(h)l! restaurant in Hamm, where he graduated at the top of his year. He gained further experience during several internships and in the restaurants Husarenquartier and Überfahrt. He then worked as a sous chef and head chef at Denkma(h)l! before moving to Wuppertal.
