South Tyrol: Norbert Niederkofler remains number 1

Südtirol, Rangliste

Wirtshaus zur Blauen Traube is newcomer of the year

The Atelier Moessmer Norbert Niederkofler restaurant in Bruneck remains the best in South Tyrol in 2025. This is the result of the upgrading of the scores of the most important restaurant guides for the Italian province. South Tyrol has its own restaurant ranking, as German-speaking guides also test restaurants there. As in the previous year, Terra in Val Sarentino follows in second place and Castel finedining in Tyrol in third place.

Three restaurants have made it into the top 10 for the first time or have done so again. These are Kuppelrain in Kastell-Tschars, which improves from eleventh to sixth place, Quellenhof Gourtmetstube 1897 in St. Martin, which climbs from 25th to seventh place, and Apostelstube in Brixen, which rises from 19th to tenth place.

The newcomer of the year, however, is the Wirtshaus zur Blauen Traube in Algund, which climbed from 79th to eleventh place. The best newcomer to the list is the Hebbo in Toblach. It achieved 82nd place straight away.

The ratings from the following guides were analysed for the ranking: Guide Michelin Italy, Gault&Millau Südtirol, Falstaff, Espresso, Gambero Rosso,Großer Restaurant- und Hotel Guide and the Schlemmer Atlas.
