Restaurant review

Blumé, Groningen

Netherlands, Groningen, Forum

"The bottom line is a menu that was pleasing."

"While the vegetarian beetroot course, the unusual starter of Petermännchen fish and the pork cheeks were particularly convincing, other dishes either lacked a little finesse or, as with the plaice, showed avoidable flaws in craftsmanship. The bottom line, however, is a menu that was pleasing. It's also clear that you shouldn't expect high-end service for the price and that the odd mistake is therefore forgivable. The attentive and always cordial service, which also knew how to navigate the wine list, also helped to make us feel at home." (Published in October 2024)
