GOTTHARDT'S by Yannick Noack before the start
Rheinland-Pfalz
KOBLENZ: The luxury hotel FÄHRHAUS Koblenz is opening its new fine dining restaurant on 18 December. With "GOTTHARDT'S by Yannick Noack", the hotel, which is located directly on the Moselle, aims to set a new trend in top German gastronomy. Under the direction of Yannick Noack, Germany's youngest two-star chef, guests can expect avant-garde cuisine prepared with sophistication, passion and precision. Noack, who has already caused a stir as head chef in Andernach, brings his extraordinary expertise and vision to life in the new "FÄHRHAUS" restaurant.
The "GOTTHARDT'S by Yannick Noack" restaurant will offer an intimate atmosphere with 20 exclusive seats. One highlight is the newly built Chef's Table, where four guests can take a seat right next to the open-plan kitchen. Here they can not only experience the skilful preparation of the dishes, but also enjoy the unique view of the Moselle.
Yannick Noack discovered his passion for haute cuisine as a child when he took part in a cookery course with legendary 3-star chef Dieter Müller at the Schlosshotel Lerbach in Bergisch-Gladbach. This early introduction to the world of top cuisine laid the foundation for his remarkable career. In 2023, he was honoured as the youngest two-star chef in Germany - a success that continues to drive him forward: "For me, the stars are more than just an award - they motivate me to always try new things and offer my guests unforgettable experiences," says Noack.
Over the course of his career, Yannick Noack has gained valuable experience in some of the most renowned establishments in German top gastronomy, including at the "Vendôme" with Joachim Wissler, at the "Villa Rothschild" with Christian Eckhardt, at "Victor's Fine Dining" by Christian Bau and at the "Gästehaus Klaus Erfort" in Saarbrücken. As head chef at "Purs" in Andernach, he set new standards and is now shaping the culinary concept of the "FÄHRHAUS Koblenz" with exceptional finesse, creativity and a clear focus on flavour and quality. At his side are high-calibre colleagues such as Jaspar Wcislo, Executive Sous Chef and winner of the "Chef of the Year 2024" competition. Yannick Noack is not only a talented chef, but also a visionary who will enrich the culinary scene with his unconventional ideas and tireless pursuit of perfection and shape it in the years to come.
The FÄHRHAUS Koblenz was created through the commitment of IT and eHealth entrepreneur Frank Gotthardt with visionary architecture and a modern, luxurious ambience that inspires discerning guests from all over the world and attracts them to Koblenz. With 47 stylishly furnished rooms, including 37 comfort rooms and ten spacious suites, the "FÄHRHAUS" offers its guests a fascinating view of the Moselle and the idyllic surroundings.
The restaurant will be open in the evening from Wednesday to Saturday.
