Nelson Müller takes over hotel

ESSEN. Nelson Müller wants to relocate his Michelin-starred restaurant Schote to Bergisch Gladbach. He has taken over the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Diepeschrather Mühle. Together with his brigade, he wants to open a sophisticated hotel with a culinary focus in March 2025, according to a statement from Relais & Châteaux. The Hotel Diepeschrather Mühle, a project close to the heart of the well-known chef, will have 25 rooms, including five suites, a wellness area with a large outdoor pool and two restaurants.

In addition to a restaurant based on the "farm to table" concept, the gourmet restaurant will give the chef and owner the opportunity to express his passion for creative, predominantly plant-based cuisine using seasonal ingredients. The rooms and suites are furnished in a modern style and have terraces with views of the forest or pool.
