HERLESHAUSEN: Luca Allevato, previously head chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant La Vallée Verte, has left the business. He is open to new challenges, he announced on his LinkedIn profile.

Luca Allevato, who was born in the Swiss canton of Basel in 1989, took over the management of the Michelin-starred restaurant in Herleshausen in July. During this time, he has confirmed the restaurant's ratings in the guides, which have kept it in the top 60 of our restaurant rankings. Luca Allevato was previously Sous Chef at the Tantris restaurant in Munich. He used the lockdown period during the coronavirus pandemic to complete his master's degree at the Heidelberg Hotel Management School. Between 2014 and 2020, he worked as Chef de Partie and later Sous Chef in some of the best establishments in the country: first with Klaus Erfort at Gästehaus Erfort, then with Harald Wohlfahrt at Traube Tonbach and with Klaus Peter Lump at Restaurant Bareiss. He then returned to Klaus Erfort for another 16 months at the beginning of 2019.
