UNTERFÖHRING. cookery battle instead of coach battle! Normally, celebrity chefs Alexander Herrmann, Alex Kumptner, Tim Raue and Frank Rosin serve up delicious dishes on the hit cookery show "The Taste" and battle it out to find the best cooking talent for their teams. But in episode one of the 13th season (Wednesday, 23 October 2024, at 20:15 on SAT.1), guest judge Cornelia Poletto turns the tables: "They're not expecting what's about to happen," says the Hamburg native. She sends the men themselves to the cooker to create a perfect spoon for her! Whoever serves her the most flavourful dish can cook up a clear advantage: They will secure an additional team member and over the next few weeks will be allowed to accompany five instead of four candidates in the race for their own cookery book, 50,000 euros in prize money and their own winning dish in the shops.

The ambition is awakened: "No matter which one of us wins - the one who does has a completely different level of relaxation, of course," Tim Raue realises. Alexander Herrmann is highly motivated: "I think five candidates is great. Especially because I can give one more person the chance to really shine on 'The Taste'." "The Taste", season 13, nine episodes, from Wednesday, 23 October 2024, at 20:15 on SAT.1 and in advance on Joyn.
