Relocation
The Jane leaves the church
Belgium
ANTWERPEN. The Belgian two-star restaurant The Jane is moving. After ten years in a former chapel, a new chapter is to be opened, according to the restaurant's newsletter. The concept is also set to change: "With the same flavour, the same desire and the same determination. With a concept that is more in tune with the zeitgeist. One that is sure to appeal to your taste buds," reads the newsletter.
Looking back on the past ten years fills the team with pride. The Jane has made history at its previous location. Among other things, the restaurant was voted into the 50 Best list. However, the new location is to be smaller. This fits in better with the current trends in the catering industry. The ambitions and goals are to be set just as high as before, but in a more intimate setting. The embassy has not yet announced where The Jane will move to. However, The Jane has announced that the restaurant will remain in Antwerp.
