AUGSBURG. maximilian°s restaurant at Hotel Maximilian's has a new head chef in Marcel Konsek. With his impressive experience in some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, he is set to bring a breath of fresh air and innovative culinary accents to the restaurant's kitchen.
Marcel Konsek already has an impressive career in upscale gastronomy and is looking forward to bringing his expertise and creativity to the maximilian°s restaurant. "His previous positions include leading positions in Michelin-starred cuisine, including the Mandarin Oriental Savoy in Zurich and the IGNIV Zurich, awarded 2 MICHELIN stars and 17 Gault-Millau points, where he worked as Sous Chef under Chef Daniel Zeindlhofer. Other outstanding positions include the restaurant Memories and the famous Schloss Schauenstein under Andreas Caminada, which are among the best addresses in the world with 3 MICHELIN stars.
As a multiple award-winning chef, including 1st place in the Young Engadin Talent Competition, Konsek not only brings a wealth of expertise to the table, but also a great passion for regional and seasonal ingredients.
