Concept change
'Bembergs Häuschen' is closed
EUSKIRCHEN: Managing Director Johannes von Bemberg and top chef Oliver Röder are closing their Michelin-starred restaurant Bembergs Häuschen at the end of the year. Instead, they are giving their restaurant "Eiflers Zeiten" in the "Landlust Burg Flamersheim" in Euskirchen an update: where previously they mainly served the well-known classics such as "Eifler Lamm vom Pützhof", "Landlust Schnitzel" and "Zwiebelrostbarten mit Bratkartoffeln", from the turn of the year guests will also be spoilt with star-awarded gourmet cuisine, which was previously served in Bembergs Häuschen.
Oliver Röder explains: "We will also be serving a 5-course gourmet menu from the Michelin-starred restaurant in the future - in "Eiflers Zeiten". The courses can even be ordered à la carte to give guests a greater choice of dishes. The award-winning wine list will also remain the same. Our staff around head chef Filip Czmok and the charming hostess and sommelier Katharina Röder will remain with us. Events and celebrations at gourmet level will continue to take place. We will also continue to offer our renowned catering at the highest level."
More accessible top cuisine
With the new concept, Johannes von Bemberg and Oliver Röder also want to meet the changing demands of top gastronomy: "People who go to fine dining these days often no longer do so in evening dress, but in everyday clothes. By integrating a gourmet menu into our down-to-earth restaurant, we are making our gourmet cuisine even more accessible." The restaurant for everyone will therefore continue to attract many connoisseurs to "Landlust Burg Flamersheim" in the future.
