He becomes the new head chef at the Tannenhof in St. Anton am Arlberg

ST. ANTON AM ARLBERG From 1 October 2024, a new face will be taking over the reins in the kitchen of the five-star superior Hotel Tannenhof: Dennis Ilies. For the past twelve years, he has been the right and left hand of exceptional chef Kevin Fehling in Hamburg (3 Michelin stars) and is now entering new territory in his first position as head chef.

The 38-year-old already got his first taste of the mountains in August and feels right at home on the Arlberg. His philosophy can be summarised in a few words: the best ingredients, support for local producers, unusual preparations and combinations, intense flavour experiences. All this awaits guests in the stylish ambience of the Hotel Tannenhof, both in the gourmet menu and a la carte. The doors of the hotel and restaurant will open on 4 December.

After more than four years, the Hotel Tannenhof*****Superior in St. Anton am Arlberg and head chef Gustav Jantscher will part ways on 30 September 2024. As a glamorous finale to this very successful collaboration, Gustav Jantscher will once again showcase his skills for the Tannenhof on 28 September 2024 at the Gaült&Millaü Austria gourmet fair at the Ottakringer brewery.
