Restaurant Kommilfoo, Antwerp
"The petits fours with madeleines, cannelés, a choux pastry and a cinnamon pastry are part of the classic line that accompanied us throughout the evening, although the individual dishes were not so classic, but with the odd modern touch. However, Olivier De Vinck's craftsmanship demonstrates convincing mastery and a class that no longer needs to prove anything to anyone. The flavour combinations are coherent and harmonious, the product qualities very good to excellent. Together with a moderately priced wine list and a service led by Inger Blancquaert, who is attentive and cordial, we spent an extremely pleasant evening here. And yet another address that will make our choice difficult the next time we visit Antwerp." (Published in July 2024)
