Ladies Lunch with Tim Raue
A few weeks ago, her restaurant in Las Vegas was recognised as one of the 50 best restaurants in the world for the ninth time in a row, and this weekend she hosted one of the capital's most popular networking events, the "MAW Ladies Lunch", for the sixth time. We are talking about Marie-Anne Wild, co-founder and managing partner of Restaurant Tim Raue, which ranks 30th on "The World's 50 Best Restaurants" list as the best German restaurant and has been awarded two Michelin stars and five black toques in the Gault & Millau guide. In addition to her role as an entrepreneur, the 49-year-old Berliner is also the host of the successful podcast "Auf ein Glas
Champagne with Marie-Anne - Women in Gastronomy" podcast and publisher of a foodie newsletter with unusual gastronomic tips, which will be sent out exclusively by invitation and recommendation from mid-July.
Once again this year, more than 50 women were invited by Wild to Tim Raue's restaurant to network over a menu specially created for the occasion by top chef Tim Raue and to gather new ideas on the topic of female leadership. Colleagues such as Jeannine Frank (Restaurant Horváth, 2 Michelin stars), Ilona Scholl (Restaurant Tulus Lotrek, 1 Michelin star) and Nancy Großmann (Sommelière Rutz Restaurant, 3 Michelin stars), actress Franziska Weisz, singer ALINA, presenters Alina Merkau and Bettina Cramer as well as entrepreneurs Annett Kuhlmann (Marsano Berlin), Katharina Kurz (BRLO), Martina Hacker (KPM) and Aimie-Sarah Carstensen (founder of Art Night).
The menu created by Tim Raue was themed "Summer Splash". Dishes such as Imperial caviar with cucumber and trout, zander with sauerkraut and Peruvian mint, North Sea crustacean broth, Wagyu borscht with beetroot and mustard and strawberry-rhubarb with pondicherry rosé were served. The exclusive house champagne 2012 "Cuvée Marie-Anne Sauvage" Blanc de Blanc Vieille Vigne was also served.
