New F&B Director at the Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski

Daniel Herrmann strengthens the team of the traditional Munich-based company with his expertise and international experience

MUNICH: The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is starting the second half of 2024 with a significant addition to its Food & Beverage department. Daniel Herrmann is taking over the position of Director of Food & Beverage with immediate effect and will be responsible for all culinary areas of the hotel from now on. In his new role, he will report directly to Hotel Manager Benedikt Kuhn.

Daniel Herrmann brings with him an impressive career and extensive experience in the international F&B sector. His professional experience includes senior positions at renowned hotels worldwide, including Le Meridien Maldives Resort, Four Points by Sheraton and most recently the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, where he was Complex Director of Food & Beverage. This diverse experience makes him an ideal candidate to further strengthen the high standards and culinary excellence of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich.

The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich has always been synonymous with luxury and first-class service. With Daniel Herrmann as the new Director of Food & Beverage, the hotel will continue and further expand this tradition.

Daniel Herrmann began his career in the hospitality industry with an apprenticeship at the Hilton Munich Park, which he successfully completed in 2006. After obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Hotel Management at the renowned Les Roches, he completed an Executive MBA programme at the SMBS Business School of the University of Salzburg in 2013. In 2014, Daniel Herrmann took up his first position with Marriott as Restaurant Manager at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Two years later, he moved to the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort in the Cayman Islands, where he joined the team as Director of Restaurants and Bars. After three years, he was promoted to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and was appointed Acting Director of Food & Beverage in 2020.

In 2021, Herrmann took on the role of Director of Food & Beverage at Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa. Most recently, he worked at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre & Four Points by Sheraton, where he played a central role as Complex Director of Food & Beverage.
