The current French rankings can now be viewed at http://www.restaurant-ranglisten.de/restaurants/ranglisten/frankreich/.
At place 1: Pavillon Ledoyen, one of the oldest restaurants in Paris, mentioned in 1791 and in which the big names of the French Revolution and Napoleon are said to have dined. But you can be sure that there is nothing old-fashioned or dusty about Head Chef Christian Le Squer’s cooking.
At place 2, with the same number of points as last year’s winner Flocons de Sel: Assiette Champenoise in Reims was awarded its third Michelin star for the first time this year. Head Chef Arnaud Lallement was declared Chef of the Year 2014 by Gault&Millau.
Have fun browsing the French rankings.
